This privacy policy explains how TOWERUN (the "App"), a mobile game developed by SixtyFour Labs, handles your data.
1. In short
- TOWERUN does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email or location.
- Your game progress (coins, gems, characters, upgrades, tasks, settings) is stored only on your device.
- The App shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob, only when you press a button for a reward.
- The leaderboard is optional. Only if you join with a nickname are your nickname and scores sent to our server.
- Evening reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device; no data is sent for them. You can turn them off under "Reminders" in the settings.
- To improve the game, anonymous usage statistics are collected with Google Firebase Analytics (see below).
2. Leaderboard (optional)
If you pick a nickname and join on the leaderboard screen, the following is sent to our server (sixtyfourlabs.net):
- The nickname you choose (we recommend not using your real name),
- A random player number generated by the App that cannot be linked to you,
- Your best score, height, combo and the name of the character you used.
Your nickname and scores are shown to other players on the board. To prevent abuse, your IP address is kept only in an irreversible (hashed) form for a few minutes for rate limiting. If you do not join, nothing is sent. To have your entry deleted, email support@sixtyfourlabs.net with your nickname.
3. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
The App uses Firebase Analytics, provided by Google LLC. It collects: a random app instance ID, device model, operating system and language, approximate location (country / city) inferred from the IP address, time spent in the App and game events (run start and end, height reached, rewarded ads watched, characters and upgrades unlocked). Your name, email, nickname or precise location are not sent, and this data is not linked to advertising. Google keeps the data for up to 14 months.
4. Ads and third parties
The App uses Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Our advertising partners may process the following to serve and measure ads: advertising ID, device information (model, operating system, language, approximate IP-based country), ad interactions and fraud prevention signals.
5. Your consent (Europe / GDPR)
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent screen on first launch through Google's consent management platform (UMP). You can change your choice later under "Ad privacy options" in the game's settings.
6. Resetting your advertising ID
You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android device under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
7. Children
TOWERUN is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
8. Retention and security
Your local progress stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App. Leaderboard entries are kept until you ask us to delete them; the weekly board restarts every week. Communication with the server is encrypted with HTTPS.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, KVKK and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. Contact us for any request.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Updates are published on this page.
